How to foil on laser printed images.

September 4th, 2010 Andrew Leave a comment Go to comments

This short clip shows how you can add foil to any artwork printed on your laser printer using our specially adapted laminating machine. The image must be created using a laser printer or photocopier. Place foil over the artwork, cover with a thin piece of card and feed through the machine. Peel back the foil and the printed image is covered. It gives a wonderful professional finish to your hand made cards, wedding invitations, business cards, certificates etc.

Nice one! I have a question…. you have here a white background. What if you have a colourful background, but you don’t want to make it glossy. You just want to apply the foil for the text only. Is it possible to make it? thanks for reply

The foil only sticks to the toner.
So if you use a ink jet printer then pass it through a laser printer the foil will stick to the toner ad not to the ink

I’m sorry it took so long to reply, But I don’t log into this e-mail very often.
The paper does not have to be ultra smooth and you can use different kinds of paper and card even some textured cards but it could mean trying different types
