Can I laminate paper using the laminate sheets and an iron?

I am looking at laminating some sheets for a school project, but I do not want to buy on of the machines. Is it possible to do this with an iron?

Many laminating products use glue rather than heat. You could even use clear Contact paper. Using an iron could ruin your project, either by melting the plastic or scorching the paper.

it all depends on the sheets you use some sheets can work with a iron if you place paper over the sheet and gently apply the iron for a very small amount of time.

I get rolls of laminating material at Wally World, It is 35 sq ft. rolls. it is about 7$ a roll. and it is peal and stick. It is in the shelf paper area. very easy to use. I use it to make stencils for glass etching. When put on paper it looks like it is behind glass. I print off my photos on card stock and laminate it
